Monsoon Rain | Why is this the most important season for India?
Most farmers in India, especially in the country’s rural farmers, rely entirely or heavily on rain during the monsoon season, which is important for irrigation.
The country’s monsoon rain affects Khalif crops, mainly rice, cotton, corn, soybeans and sugar cane. Usually, these crops are sown for these crops, and these crops are sown during the monsoon season. Monsoon season usually starts in June and continues until October. And they rely heavily on these rains for growth.
