Prime Minister Narendra Modi could close the flag from the train from the town of Katra to the Kashmir Valley on June 6th.
“The Prime Minister was able to flag the services of the Vande Bharat train from Katra in Jammu Division to Baramulla in the Valley on June 6th.
The service of the Vande Bharat train to Kashmir was scheduled to begin on April 19th, but the inauguration ceremony by PM has been postponed due to bad weather.
Vande Bharat’s train service is beneficial for pilgrims in Amarnath Yatra as the blockade of Jammu Srinagar Highway frequently stops pilgrims passing.
This year’s Amarnath Yatra will begin on July 3rd and end on August 9th after 38 days.
Officials said whether special trains could be run to clarify the rush of pilgrims, particularly in the case of highway blockades.
The Prime Minister flags from the train from Katra to Baramulla and essentially from Balamura to Katra.
The Prime Minister deals with a rally at Katra Stadium and visits the world’s tallest railway bridge across the Chenabu River. It will also be added to the first cable stay bridge on the railway tracks in the Reiri district before flagging train services from Katra.
Currently, the train runs from Katra to Baramulla, but after completion of expansion work at Jammu Railway Station, including an increase in the number of platforms, the train to the Valley will begin operation from Jammu to Baramulla between August and September this year.
Currently there are no direct trains from other parts of Delhi to Kashmir.
Passengers must equip the cutlas and replace the train. The same process then shifts to Jammu.
During Operation Sindoah, trains carrying army soldiers were operated by trucks to Srinagar.
A fresh security audit of the truck was carried out after the Pahargam terrorist attacks, and all issues were addressed by the deployment of more police personnel and strengthening infrastructure.
