This week’s important report is retail sales and housing launches in May.
It will be released this week for manufacturing, industrial production, and for FRID manufacturing surveys in New York and Philadelphia.
The FOMC will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, and prices are expected to remain the same.

8:30am: New York Fed Empire State Manufacturing Survey For June. The consensus is a read between -9.2 and -6.0.

This graph shows retail sales since 1992. This is monthly retail sales and food service, seasonal adjustments (total and former gasoline).
9:15am: Fed will be released Industrial production and utilization of capacity For May.
This graph shows the first industrial production since 1967.
The consensus is that industrial production increases by 0.1% and capacity utilization changes at 77.7%.
10am: June NAHB Home Builder Survey. The consensus is 34-36 readings last month. Numbers below 50 indicate that more builders are considered to be worse than good terms of sale.

7am ET: The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) Home Loan Purchase Application Index.
8:30am: First weekly unemployment claim The report will be released. The consensus comes against the initial claims of 250,000 people last week, from 248,000 people.
8:30am ET: The housing begins For May.
This graph shows the first single and total housing start since 1968.
This consensus is for SAAR 13.7 million from SAAR 1361 million in April.
Daytime: AIA’s Architecture Billings Index Because of April (a major indicator of commercial real estate).
2pm: FOMC Statement. The FOMC is expected to remain unchanged at this meeting.
2pm: FOMC Projection This includes forecasts of appropriate eligible federal funding rates by Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) participants along with quarterly economic forecasts.
2:30pm: Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell A press conference will be held following the announcement of the FOMC.
