This week I’ll talk Verina PenevaGroup Chief Investment Officer of a major insurance company Switzerland. We will discuss the reinsurance business, risk management, her career path and more.
Peneva began his career with Bain & Company in 1998 and became a partner in 2011. While there, she worked with fund managers and investors, becoming a leader in Zurich’s private equity practices and a member of the company’s Global Investment Committee. Peneva joined Swiss RE in 2017 and became co-head of client solutions and analytics before being appointed to a member of the Group Chief Investment Office and Group Executive Commit in 2023.
She explains the importance of matching your assets with your future liabilities and why liquidity and quality are so important.
