There’s a story about “when I was an intern.”
But as my experience grew, I became a mature person who trained interns, answered naive questions, and voted for who was hired as part of my next intern class.
Some were good. The others were bad. But my latest internship is completely different
I was stupid enough to google “big swing dick” while writing this.
What do you think it’s back?
I’ve got a ChatGpt hang at intermediate level. Using memory storage, remember preferences and assumptions. I save the prompt and return insufficient output for refinement and correction. I’m not afraid to be strict and concrete to what I want. And I certainly don’t personify damn things or care about their feelings.
In other words, I am now the managing director! To be honest, MDS has been working as an autonomous drone to put together slide decks for decades!
Big swing dick – Large trader or salesman. (“If he could bring millions of dollars out of those phones, he became the most respected of all species: a big swinging penis.” p. 56.) The opposite of this term is Otakuused to refer to a trainee who has just been hired.
I tried to play Liar’s Poker against ChatGpt, but without me asking, it immediately showed that randomly generated hands were burning like a 4 year old. Therefore, the robotic apocalypse is still a few years away.
With 2025 coming out in 2026, we’ll hear a lot about Agent AI. The “agent” AI platform is an AI system designed to operate autonomously. In other words, if ChatGpt is talking to an intern via Slack or a team, the AI agent will give the intern a task in the morning, hoping he won’t fuck, then hopes he’ll get the report back at the end of the progress. Eeks!
Whether it’s ChatGPT or AI agent work, there are some hints based on the years that look at (and commit) human intern tasks and mistakes here –

They are very useful to throw away low value, unimportant work

Keep access to the minimum (the principle of least privilege). That way you won’t delete the entire database or delete the $140 million Brazilian Rial to the wrong client (both crimes)

It would sound more confident in the answer than it actually is (I believe it is correct)

Being able to automatically add meetings to my calendar does not guarantee promotions or seating at tables in advanced strategic decision-making sessions

You need to continue to train and learn organizational bias, preferences, and best practices.
