In the world of restaurants, there are few honorable honors than Michelin stars.

These stars are given to restaurants with exceptional food. Of the over 15 million restaurants worldwide, just 0.10% have been Michelin-starred under 16,000 people.

Like a Michelin star chef Alain Ducas, Gordon Ramsay and Massimo Bottura It’s not just chefs. They are world-renowned celebrities who have transformed fine dining.

What captivates me is the way these chefs incorporate simple, everyday ingredients and turn them into masterpieces. Even if you have their recipes, it will be very difficult to replicate the same dish.

why?

A good chef not only follows the recipe, but also adapts to suit the dishes.

They adjust the flavor, adjust the techniques, and make decisions based on years of experience. Many of these steps come naturally to the experts, but are unknown to most home cooks.

The same idea applies to system trading.

Build an adaptable system

When I began building a rule-based trading system in the early 1980s, I was lucky enough to meet hedge fund manager Bruce Covenner ($7.7 billion in net worth).

Kovner founded Caxton Associates in 1983, growing to manage more than $14 billion at its peak. Since 1992, the company has been closed to new investors.

I met him through his brother Richard. When Richard introduced us, I had no idea who Bruce was. He looked like a university professor – calm and reserved.

But after talking for just a few minutes, I realized that he was a wizard of the market.

I asked him if he was advised to a young man in his 20s if he was trying to build a trading system.

He smiled, “A great system is a system that constantly adapts.”

At the time I didn’t fully understand what he meant, but I never forgot.

Over the years, his advice proved great. Financial markets are constantly changing and need to evolve to evolve trading systems.

Breaking the market

When you build the latest system, Profit Acceleratortested rules for 20 years of historical data.

It worked very well in the lab, but the real challenge was determining how it would work in real terms.

Now it’s approaching the anniversary of the year. And the system exceeds expectations. That’s all 104%beats the S&P 500 by 3.5 times.

Profit Accelerator It was constructed using published research.

That’s what the idea is that momentum is superior in the market The well-known, The same goes for the fact that it has a smoother momentum (not a twitching momentum). It tends to be more predictive.

These concepts are supported by Nobel Prize-winning research; Anyone can use it I’m willing to dig into them.

But the same applies to building and running trading systems, just as Homecook cannot fully replicate Michelin chef recipes.

The difference lies in the small details and expert tweaks that come with only years of experience.

It’s not just about following the rules. It’s about knowing when to adjust to maximize performance. These tweaked decisions make all the difference.

If you want the opportunity to see over my shoulder while you’re trying out my latest trading system, I’ll go here and show you how to get started.

nice to meet you,
