And we were back.
Some may remember this announcement at the beginning of the year—
Then I left immediately.
I was honest at the time, but life happens. Each day is one week. A week to a month, and soon Memorial Day weekend is on us, there’s nothing in the rearview mirror, but I’ve been working for 4 months under a child’s sick day, honey list item, self-expanding MD.
However, not everything is lost. The storefront continued, and under some radar projects (maybe a long form of essay?), it became silent, but underwent some radar projects to keep the issue alive.
So, I’ll talk a lot, but I don’t have a follow-through on writing. Why is it cut off?
Some people find it easy to write hundreds of words each week. Thoughts flow from your brain to your fingers, and they play the keyboard like master pianists. But that’s not the case.
It’s difficult to write. It takes time, focused, and extremely important. The ability to deliver finished products. So I stopped until I was able to be sure that all these factors were strong supplies.
There is far too much platitude in the virtue of quitting, especially in the world of gambling and trading.
-
Don’t throw bad money at you.
-
Reduce losses. Run the winner.
-
Know when to hold and when to fold
And to ensure that many people don’t stop working –
-
The winner will never quit, and the resigned will never win
-
Keep going when you are experiencing hell
-
Success often try another
I tend to subscribe to the former, and I think of another common phrase about trading desks.
Don’t marry your paper
It’s simple but convenient. Always be willing to change any new information whenever you appear. I will move forward with 100% certainty, but if new information appears, I will also quickly abandon it. I was going to do that…and then stopped when new information came out…I just got out more information, so I changed again.
So the feed will come back and start topics like “The Bank of Dad” and reviews of some books currently open, new ideas about market posts (there were many thoughts since April 2025)
And maybe the answer to the eternal question – if the blog is written on Substack, but no one reads it, was it really written?
