We went safely in 2025 and the results are posted. Let’s see how things unfold. (This is a long one)
result -We were right at 5200 until around labor days before the fall rally began behind AI stock optimism.
It’s always better to take a conservative tone about profits than to be disappointed, but what’s wrong is wrong and I underestimate the 14% return.
Results – A total of 1.00% reduction of 3 per year.
result – The bank is incredibly resilient…for now.
The Federal Reserve Bank Term Funding Program (BTFP) has ended new loans March 11, 2024 This meant that banks had to return to their usual lending mechanisms to cover their needs. The Fed had essentially no issues with bank solvency.
However, the banking industry’s “cash under the mattress” pile, represented by the overnight report volume, has taken away the bank’s cash needs in 2025, leaving an incredibly low liquidity buffer.
With the new administration promoting spending cuts, banks appear to pray for the Treasury issuance fully. Therefore, the US government does not smoke the remaining excess cash in the banking system. Many volatility in the bank could still be ahead.
result – Half right. But honestly, we could have honestly predicted the democratic swap that was taking place later in the campaign.
result – US media doesn’t care
There is also little mainstream or alternative media coverage of India and Türkiye this year. That’s a shame given its size and impact. China is slowly decreasing, but India is quickly trying to gain the highest position due to population growth. Turkey is the biggest X factor determining control of Ukraine-Russia postwar trade relations through the Turkish-controlled channel near Istanbul.

The average viewership for the Parisio Games, led by NBC and Peacock, has risen 82% since the Tokyo Olympics. 30.4 million viewersAnd the opening ceremony has been the most viewed since 2012, with a viewer of 28.6 million.
To be fair, I’m a guy who’s been skipping the Super Bowl for a few years, so my fingers weren’t really in the pulse of society here.
result – It’s not there yet, but it’s going like that
Netflix will have 90 million subscribers for its ad-supported services by the end of the year. Analysts hope that Netflix will win $4.20 on a share of $101.2 billion in the quarter that ended December 31st.
Meanwhile, HBO Max expects its target of $1 billion in streaming profits in 2025 to “more meaningfully”
Due to the free service, Tubi has surpassed Nielsen’s monthly viewing via TV sets, Max, Peacock, Paramount+, neck and neck running as YouTube’s second free outlet.

result – Get there. Several hit shows and films have recently entertained the premise. Articles on the relationship of “sugar daddy” which is more common in expensive cities also bubble up, and the onslaught of HIMS and her Instagram ads for those over 30 all realize the acceptance of society. It’s like the marijuana culture of 2004 now.
